By default, PMS provides whereas tasks fall under GST and Income Tax. Also, you can add any other task which is not provided as the default task in PMS.
Here is the step-by-step guide for adding an other task: –
Step 1
Select the Add Task option shown under Task from the left-hand side menu bar.
Step 2
Select the Other option in the Create Task
Step 3
You have two options to create the other task: –
a) To create an Other Task, you can select the various other task provided by default from the Other Task Dropdown.
b) If you do not find an Other Task which you want to create then you can type the task in the Create Other Task box.
Note – You can also add the new Other Task (which you just type) in the Other Task list so you do not have to create it again manually. To add it to the above list, click on + Other Task button shown on the right-hand side of the box.
Step 4
Select the period to which this task relates. We do provide the following option for the Period: –
a) One Time – As the name suggests this is for a one-time tasks like GST registration, PAN application, etc.
b) Monthly – You should use Monthly when the task is required to be done for a particular period. Once you select Monthly, you are required to select a relevant month in the next dropdown of Select Period.
c) Quarterly – Similarly, if the task is required to be done on a quarterly basis then you should select Quarterly and the relevant quarter in the next dropdown.
d) Half-Yearly
e) Yearly
Note – It is mandatory to select the period.
Step 5
Now the next option is to select the due date of the task which is also mandatory.
Step 6
You can add the description of the other task. It is not mandatory.
Step 7
Now, you are required to select the client for which you want to create this task. You can search for a client by typing the name in the search box shown on the top or filter the client using the Filter Option given in the right corner.
Note – You can select a client by selecting the checkbox shown on the left-hand side against each client. Also, you can change the user by clicking on the Other Users shown against the client name. By default, the system takes all the users as set up in the client master.
Step 8
Once you select the relevant clients, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Create Task button to create the task.
